Job Purpose

The Associate Marketing Manager, Store Marketing, is responsible for leading community marketing initiatives to better enable our stores to connect with their local communities and support their efforts in building community relationships and connections. The position is responsible for providing and updating tools and resources to help our stores activate our brand within their communities. The position is also responsible for ensuring integration with Operations and communications with the field on local store marketing questions and support.

This position will have 1 direct report.


  • Identify and establish tools and resources for local store marketing use.

  • Oversee the expansion and functionality of the community marketing site.

  • Secure funding sponsors for event toolkits.

  • Complete county fair P.O.P. (point of purchase) ordering, fulfillment, reporting to RVPS.

  • Manage Blue Tractor as 3rd party operator and fulfillment partner of CMTK(Community Marketing Toolkit) site.

  • Respond to individual store requests for additional tools.

  • Initiate, manage negotiations, secure sponsor funding and ensure execution of event marketing initiatives, including the mobile unit tour, state fairs and regional event sponsorships.

  • Ensure thorough and regular communications with Operations and Merchant group around community marketing initiatives to engage support on initiatives.

  • Respond to store and organization sponsorship requests. Recommend the day to day fulfillment of local store marketing needs and requests.

  • Project spending for assigned accounts, ensure invoices are coded and processed correctly, supervise and reconcile the monthly spend to budget.

  • Organize competitive intrusion process and program execution.

  • Competitive marketing P.O.P. (marketing programs in competitive intrusion areas of the country).

  • Competitive intrusion marketing plans.


Experience: 3 to 5 years of related experience.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.


  • Ability and proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Access, word processing, and spreadsheets.
